Nakyeyune Joselyn is a trained economist with an interest in health and human rights issues, research and documentation, open access initiatives, creative commons, building communities, organisation development and fundraising.
She holds a degree in Development Economics from Makerere University, a Certificate in International Trade and Development from ESAMI-Arusha, a Certificate in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) from Makerere, a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Washington and currently pursuing a Master in Public Health at Uganda Christian University.
Nakyeyune is currently an Executive Assistant at Afya na Haki Institute (Ahaki) and has previously served in various capacities as; Executive Assistant at the Center for Health, Human Rights and Development; Grants and Research officer at the Center for Health Human Rights and Development; Communications Assistant at Africa Renewal Organization.
She has over five years of experience in fundraising and evidence generation for Health, Human Rights and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights advocacy. Throughout her experience in Civil Society Organisations, she has managed and directly supported the implementation of various SRHR projects. She has also participated in the publication of various research and discussion papers on Health, Human Rights and SRHR and has gone ahead to present these findings at different national and international conferences.
