Jessica is a doctoral candidate at Babcock University, Nigeria. Her research focuses on protecting the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of internally displaced persons in Nigeria. She holds a Master of Laws degree from Babcock University, a Post-Graduate Course Certificate on the Law of Non-International Armed Conflict from the Geneva Academy, Switzerland, and a First-Class degree in Law from Benson Idahosa University.

She has supported various public health legal reform initiatives and interventions at the national and subnational levels in Nigeria. She has been actively involved in developing regulatory and policy advisories on gender, health, child protection, and research ethics guidelines in collaboration with several local and foreign development partners.
