Ahaki Fellows
The Ahaki Fellowship is a residential programme that offers African individuals the opportunity and platform to enhance their appreciation of Africentric approaches to health, Human Rights, and SRHR. Fellows work at the Ahaki secretariat, witnessing first-hand the efforts, progress, and challenges faced by women, girls, sexual minorities, activists, scholars, and public officials as they strive to achieve health, human rights, and equitable access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) for all.

What they say;
“The programme has benefited me personally and professionally. I have been
exposed to a group of experts that are beyond my normal routine work and I
have also gotten training and knowledge in areas that are broader than what I expected to have gotten when I was joining the fellowship programme...”
MOLLY NKOSI
The biggest highlight for me has been my learning experience through regional
conferences and regional writing workshops. And the most amazing part of all of
this is, I got to learn more and interact with several regional partners...”-
MONALISA CHAFEWA
“The fellowship at Ahaki has provided me with invaluable opportunities for
personal and professional growth. Through this experience, I have gained a deeper
understanding of the reproductive justice framework in the context of sexual and
reproductive health and rights and developed a strong sense of teamwork and
adaptability in a dynamic and challenging environment...”
